Online Productivity

Wow! Another amazing technical contribution! Google Docs sounds like a very useful and successful way to further enhance clear communication in a work context. Does anyone know if the Henrico Libriaries are currently using Google Docs or any of the other technical stuff we've been learning about in CHPLearning like Twitter, Wikis, Social Networking and Tags?

Social Networking

Finally...something I am a little more familiar with! =)
I think the whole establishment of social networking was brilliant. However, I still think we should be cautious when it comes to "meeting" new people online. This is completely different from meeting someone in person. Unfortunately with the way our world is today, you just can't trust that someone you've never met but "know" via facebook or myspace is really who he or she says she is.
However, when it comes to keeping in tough with your family and friends, these social networking devices are very fun and useful.

Wikis

I'm continuing to learn new things every week! Honestly, I am sort of "out of the loop" when it comes to all this new technology. So, almost everything presented is new to me!

Wikis sound so cool! I have to imagine that they are very useful when working in groups or within companies. Neat stuff!
